OneEye Creative produces original handmade photographic works, ranging from bookmarks & Magnets, to Postcards & Mounted Imagery. I wanted to bring my photography to the world in a truly unique way, I did this by personally over seeing every aspect of the business, from logo & packaging design, to photography, printing, finishing, packaging, distribution & accounts.
Everything is hand-made in Ireland by myself, bringing a Original Handmade Irish Product to the tourist market place from one artist. My original pieces can be found all the way down as far as Mizen Head, West Cork. (Irelands Most Southerly Point)
The Name OneEye Creative was born through two connections that I have with the words One Eye.
Firstly, I use one eye when I look through the viewfinder of my Camera when I am creating beautiful imagery.
Secondly, it is closely linked to my surname, O’Sullivan which in Irish, is O’Súileabháin, translating in old irish to ‘of the Clan One Eye’ relating to my Celtic ancestry.
The Magnet & Bookmark sets were produced as matching Bookmark & Magnet Sets, as well as various Imagery Magnet Sets. The Original design of the bookmarks consisted of a folded 350 gsm Silk Paper, Hand Cut, creased & laminated, with two small magnetic magnets on the inner fold in order to clasp over a book page, so that your bookmark never slips out of a book again. The Magnets were printed on 200 gsm silk paper, hand cut, laminated and mounted onto a sturdy magnetic back.
